A HUNDRED BOTTLES OF BEER

Developed for a local brewhouse in a college town, these are just a few of the hundreds I put together in a spaghetti-at-the-wall approach the owners seemed to enjoy. Eventually I did some more intensive design work for them (who knew keg labels were so heavily regulated?) but this work (which was totally without limits, because entirely freelance) was among some of the most liberating I have done professionally. Just take a thought, and run.

My personal all-time favorite, I could not convince them to produce it (kids/cartoons/federal regulations/etc), but I would still want to buy this beer if I saw it at the market.

From a limited edition series celebrating all things "Georgia." Here, the state bird, and the state marine mammal.

A nod to the local Georgia Southern University mascot ( a literal eagle that flies over the stadium on home game days) , discreet enough not to send lawyers running.

A one-off to promote the work of Leonard Zimmerman, whose HAPPY campaign continues to enliven the streets 0f downtown Augusta.

No one was convinced that Jane Austen-referenced beer had a market, but they have never been to a meeting of the Jane Austen Society of North America. (I have.)

A label designed (coincidentally, I'm sure) right around the same time one summer as a Civil War reenactment group rented out most of the dorms on campus.

Some seasonal labels. Holidays really are the gift that keeps on giving for designers in want of inspiration.
